Seahawks vs. Falcons inactives: Good news on offensive line

Here are the inactives for Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium:
SEATTLE (5-2)
Inactive: WR Gary Jennings, WR John Ursua, CB Tre Flowers, RB C.J. Prosise, S Quandre Diggs, SS Lano Hill, DE Quinton Jefferson.
Notes: Good news for the Seahawks on the offensive-line front, as starting tackles Duane Brown (biceps) and Germain Ifedi (knee) are both active after being listed as questionable. Seattle also gets a pair of defensive starters back as DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle) and SS Bradley McDougald (back) are both active. Starting cornerback Flowers (neck) isn’t able to go after being listed as questionable, while recent trade acquisition Diggs (hamstring) is deemed not ready to make his debut yet. Seattle is also missing Jefferson (oblique), who isn’t a starter but has been the Seahawks’ most effective defensive lineman, and Hill (elbow) because of injury.
ATLANTA (1-6)
Inactive: G James Carpenter, RB Qadree Dillson, QB Matt Ryan, DL Deadrin Senat, RB Ito Smith, CB Desmond Trufant, CB D.J. White.
Notes: The big news, of course, is that franchise quarterback Ryan (ankle) was ruled out Saturday, meaning that 38-year-old journeyman Matt Schaub will be handed the reins of Atlanta’s offense. That’s an offense that is also without receiver Mohamed Sanu, who was traded to New England this week in what the Falcons insist was not an indication the team is pulling the plug on the season, but sure looks like it. Former Seahawk and starting left guard Cartpenter (knee) and former Washington Husky and starting cornerback Desmond Trufant (toe) are also out injured, as is No. 2 running back Smith (concussion/neck).
