LYNNWOOD — Police are still looking for a man suspected of an assault Wednesday morning at Edmonds Community College.
The suspect, described as in his 30s or 40s, reportedly was arguing with the bus driver when another man caught his attention, Lynnwood Cmdr. Sean Doty said.
The two got off the bus at Edmonds Community College around 6:40 a.m. The suspect followed the other man a short distance, punched him several times, then walked away.
Doty said there was probable cause to arrest the alleged assailant for fourth-degree assault. An alert from the college described the man as black, about 6-feet-tall, thin, wearing an orange vest and a hard hat, and carrying a backpack with construction tools inside.
The man who was attacked had minor injuries and was treated at a hospital.
