1 killed, 1 injured in Everett motorcycle crash

EVERETT — A woman riding as a passenger on a motorcycle died in a crash late Wednesday on I-5 south of Everett, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The driver, 37, of Everett, was northbound around 10:21 p.m. when the black Suzuki motorcycle went off the road to the right just north of 164th Street SW, ejecting both riders.

The woman, 38, died at the scene.

The man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with serious injuries.

State troopers suspected alcohol was a factor in the crash, and the man could face charges of vehicular homicide.
