Jared Mead will serve people well on County Council

It has been a distinct pleasure having Jared Mead as a colleague and seatmate in the state House of Representatives. I believe we have made an incredible team representing the people of the 44th Legislative District.
I extend my congratulations to Jared on being appointed to the Snohomish County Council. This district covers a majority of south Snohomish County, and Jared’s lifelong history and commitment to this community will make him a valuable asset to our residents.
Jared is the rarest type of leader. He listens, is intelligent, has the utmost integrity and is a true servant leader. He is an important part of our county’s future, and that future is bright!
While I will miss working alongside Jared here as seatmates and in Olympia daily, we could not have a better person stepping up to work with our Snohomish County Council during this challenging time. In my 26 years of service in Snohomish County I have never had such a selfless, reliable and dedicated partner to work with. And I am thrilled to have such a strong partner working between our county and our state.
So, while the people of the 44th Legislative District, myself included, will miss Jared in Olympia, Snohomish County and the people of Council District 4 are gaining an incredible leader.
Jared, it has been a pleasure working with you in Olympia. I am proud to call you my friend and I am proud to call you my new councilmember on the Snohomish County Council.
Rep. John Lovick, 44th L.D.
