Medical examiner identifies man who died in Oct. 6 fire

LYNNWOOD — The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has determined that a Lynnwood man died from smoke inhalation in an Oct. 6 fire.
Michael C. Sartain, 72, died in the accidental fire, the medical examiner reported.
The mobile home in the 3800 block of 164th Street Southwest was reported on fire around 11:20 p.m. Oct. 6. South County Fire crews found it in flames but kept it from spreading to nearby residences within 20 minutes, according to a news release from the fire district.
Two other people who lived in the mobile home safely escaped. The mobile home is a total loss, and the Red Cross was helping the survivors.
No firefighters were injured.
