Thursday, March 11
Bellingham 45, Granite Falls 13
BELLINGHAM — Granite Falls fell to 1-2 on the season with a non-conference loss to Bellingham on Thursday night at Civic Stadium.

Friday, March 12
Lakewood 77, Everett 21
EVERETT — Justice Taylor threw four touchdown passes, Malik Dotson ran for three scores and Lakewood, normally a member of the Northwest 2A Conference, routed a Wesco opponent for the second consecutive week.
Carson Chrisman scored on a 45-yard interception return, a 79-yard punt return and also caught a 46-yard touchdown from Taylor as the Cougars piled on the points in the first half.
Taylor finished with 173 yards passing and also added 80 yards and a score on the ground. Dotson finished with 119 yards on just nine carriers for Lakewood (2-0), which beat Marysville Getchell 69-0 in Week 1.
Jeremy Reed had 85 yards and a touchdown and Evan Burns caught three passes for 100 yards and a score as Everett (0-2) finished strong with three second-half touchdowns.

Lynnwood 41, Shorewood 14
EDMONDS — After being shut out in Week 1, Lynnwood’s offense came to play in a Wesco win over Shorewood.
The Royals are now 1-1 on the season while Shorewood fell to 0-2.

Kamiak 35, Mariner, 18
EVERETT — Kamiak continued its surprising start to the season with a big win over Mariner.
After finishing 1-9 last season and scoring just 11.9 points per game, the Knights are now 2-0 and have put up an average of 36.5 points over the first two weeks.
Mariner fell to 0-2 on the young season.

Edmonds-Woodway 23, Shorecrest 13
SHORELINE — Ryan Fahey rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown and Dillon Rundorff caught three passes for 88 yards and a score as Edmonds-Woodway battled to a Wesco win over Shorecrest.
Alec Rust and Cruze Colwill each threw a touchdown pass for the Warriors (2-0). Rust finished with 122 yards through the air.
Desmond Fox caught eight passes for 168 yards a two touchdowns for Shorecrest (1-1).

Lake Stevens 40, Monroe 0
MONROE — Tanner Jellison threw three touchdown passes and added another on the ground as Lake Stevens cruised past Monroe in the 81st meeting of the two Wesco rivals.
After a scoreless first quarter, Jellison opened the scoring with his legs, eluding the Bearcats’ rush and scrambling for a 3-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.
Shortly after, Jellison found Max Moenoa for an 8-yard strike as the Vikings went into halftime with a 14-0 lead.
Lake Stevens opened it up in the third quarter on a short touchdown run from Jay Roughton and another Jellison to Moenoa connection from 10 yards out.
The Vikings sealed the game in the fourth when Jellison found Gabe Ramsey for a 16-score to push their lead to 33-0.
Lake Stevens (2-0) has now won eight straight over Monroe (1-1) and 14 of the past 15 matchups in the storied rivalry.

Glacier Peak 35, Snohomish 10
SNOHOMISH — For one half, it looked like the Snohomish High School football team might have a chance to finally beat its crosstown rival.
Glacier Peak put an end to those hopes with two quick touchdowns early in the second half.
Once again, town bragging rights belong to the Grizzlies.
Glacier Peak’s defense came up with a key goal-line stand and Ryan Black broke two long touchdowns to lead the Grizzlies to a 35-10 win over Snohomish in the annual crosstown rivalry game Friday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Glacier Peak has won all nine matchups since the teams began squaring off in 2012.

Arlington 17, Stanwood 14
STANWOOD — Arlington scored on a fumble return touchdown in the fourth quarter and held off Stanwood for a win in the annual Stilly Cup rivalry game.
The Eagles now own an 11-game win streak in the storied matchup between the two schools.
Both teams are now 1-1 after the low-scoring battle.

Archbishop Murphy 35, Meadowdale 6
EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy bounced back from a Week 1 loss to Lake Stevens and cruised to a Wesco win over Meadowdale.
The stout Wildcats defense did not allow a Mavericks touchdown until the fourth quarter.
Archbishop Murphy improved to 1-1 on the season and Meadowdale fell to 1-1.

Marysville Pilchuck 49, Marysville Getchell 21
MARYSVILLE — Dylan Carson rumbled for 218 yards and five touchdowns and Jordan Velasquez added 109 yards and two scores on the ground as Marysville Pilchuck continued its dominance over crosstown-rival Marysville Getchell in the annual Berry Bowl.
Velasquez also caught a 66 yards touchdown from Jace Luton as the Marysville Pilchuck (1-1) offense asserted its will all game long.
Marysville Getchell scored 21 points after being shutout in Week 1, but fell to 0-2 on the season.

Cedar Park Christian 49, Sultan 0
SULTAN — Sultan fell to 0-3 on the season with a Emerald Sound Conference loss to Cedar Park Christian.

Cascade 47, Jackson 7
MILL CREEK — For the second straight week, Cascade dominated its opponent en route to a big Wesco win.
After beating Cedarcrest 42-0 in Week 1, the Bruins were clicking on offense and defense again in a 47-7 win over Jackson.
Cascade is now 2-0 on the season and Jackson fell to 0-2.

Cedarcrest 28, Mountlake Terrace 12
EDMONDS — Luke Amble and Kyle Stupfel each had an interception return for a touchdown and Cedarcrest held off Mountlake Terrace in a hard-fought Wesco matchup.
Peyton Burpee had 92 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead the Cedarcrest (1-1) offense.
Dylan Wallace had an interception return for touchdown of his own and Ethan Dunne scored a touchdown on the ground for Mountlake Terrace (0-2), which traded scored with the Red Wolves early on before being shut out in the second half.
