Woman found dead after house fire in Bothell

BOTHELL — A woman died Monday night in a house fire in Bothell.

The fire happened around 4:16 p.m. in the 20700 block of 34th Drive SE. Firefighters put out the flames but found the woman dead inside, Bothell Fire Department spokesperson Erin Gowenlock said.

There were no other injuries and the fire didn’t spread to nearby homes.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the victim’s identity as well as the cause and manner of death.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
