EVERETT — A young child died after reportedly being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon near Silver Lake.

Paramedics responded to a report that a child under age 5 suffered life-threatening injuries around 4:30 p.m., near the intersection of 19th Avenue SE and 112th Street SE.
