Death under investigation at Edmonds construction site

EDMONDS — A person’s death was under investigation Tuesday morning at a construction site in Edmonds.

Edmonds police officers, South County Fire and the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the site near 72nd Avenue W and 212th Street SW, according to the Edmonds Police Department.

The death was not due to a workplace accident and the deceased was not working at the site, Edmonds police Sgt. Josh McClure said. The death wasn’t being investigated as a homicide.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.

Roads were closed in the area.
