Woman identified in fatal Marysville RV fire

MARYSVILLE — A woman who died in an RV fire last month has been identified.

On the night of January 29, an RV was found engulfed in flames in the 13100 block of 41st Avenue NE, according to the Marysville Fire District. One man in his 60s suffered severe burns to his arms and hands and was taken to Providence Regional Hospital Everett. The body of a woman in her 50s was later found in the RV.

The deceased was identified as Jackie Stecher, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office . Stetcher died of fire-related injuries. She was 53.

Investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
