Thanks for coverage of proposed changes to county habitat rules

Thanks to The Herald for its recent articles about last-minute amendments to proposed updates to Critical Habitat protection (“Snohomish County delays decision on changes to habitat ordinance,” The Herald, Jan. 17). If it weren’t for The Herald, the public would have had no idea that we were about to lose the flooding protection these wetlands provide.
