SNOHOMISH — JW Grose stymied the Timberwolves offense, pitching 6 1/3 innings while allowing five hits no walks and striking out eight. Lucas Entler drove in all the runs the Grizzlies (6-10, 2-6) needed with a fourth-inning single that scored Emmett Brown. Quin Johns kept Jackson (10-3, 3-2) in the game by allowing just one earned run over 4 2/3 innings.

Lake Stevens 12, Cascade 1

EVERETT — Blake Moser (3-for-3 four runs, two stolen bases), Aspen Alexander (2-for-4, triple, double, three RBI) A’Alona DeMartin (2-for-3, double two RBI) and Manny McLaurin (four innings pitched, one hit allowed, nine striketous, zero earned runs) led the Vikings (8-5 overall, 4-1 league).

SNOHOMISH — Snohomish leadoff hitter Dylan Hutchinson recorded three of the Panthers’ 11 walks. Chase Clark drove in three for Snohomish (9-6, 4-2). Nolan Vandivia had two of Terrace’s (6-9, 4-4) five hits.
