Letter: Lower limit for DUI unnecessary

If you did not read Todd Welch’s recent column, read it (“To limit DUI wrecks, focus on what happens after arest,” The Herald, Feb. 4).

No point in me paraphrasing it here,; Welch responsibly and thoroughly covers every reason why lowering the blood alcohol level from 0.08 to 0.05 is a waste of time, energy, resources and money. It will not solve the problem.
