Celebrate: Darrington Day is Saturday

Darrington celebrates local arts, heritage and the beautiful outdoors with a day-long festival Saturday.

Find the Upriver Art Show at the Mansford Grange, live music at the park and town trivia on Darrington Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ogle some Model A Struts as they cruise the loop from noon to 2 p.m., and find a celebration of civic accomplishments — including a new bicycle pump-track — starting at 11:30 a.m. at Old School Park.

Kids activities at Old School Park include human foosball, and see if you can spot Smokey Bear. There’s also a beer garden, a chance to donate flower seeds or money for beautification projects, and lots more.
