Police investigate explosions at Edmonds-Woodway High School

EDMONDS — Police here are investigating two explosions reported Monday morning at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
Two garbage cans exploded about 11:40 a.m. in the cafe area of the school, according to a letter that principal Michelle Trifunovic sent to parents. No injuries were reported.
Fire officials determined that the explosions were from some kind of homemade bomb, according to the letter.
