SPEEA elects executive board members

The Boeing Co.’s engineers’ union voted on its executive board members tonight, re-electing president Tom McCarty.

Members of the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace voted on their president, secretary and treasurer positions Wednesday. The new officers will serve two-year terms.

Tom McCarty was re-elected as SPEEA president. Bob Wilkerson was elected treasurer. And Jimmie Mathis was elected secretary.

Only 2,431 SPEEA members voted out of 20,570 eligible members.
