Nominations are being accepted for the annual Granite Falls High School Alumni Hall of Fame inductees.
The alumni hall of fame was established in 1994 to honor students involved in school activities who have gone on to become positive role models and productive citizens.
Nominations are due by Jan. 13 to Debbie Lindahl, 1401 100th St. NE, Granite Falls, WA 98252. Nomination forms are available on the website at www.gfalls.wednet.edu.
One woman and one man will be honored at the basketball game Jan. 27.
Shop in Lake Stevens: Handmade and other gifts will be available to buy Saturday at a holiday bazaar at the Lake Stevens Boys &Girls Club.
Proceeds from the event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. benefit Relay for Life Lake Stevens.
The Boys &Girls Club is located at 1609 E. Lakeshore Drive.
Library offers a six-day Winter Extravaganza: Seeking to provide activities for children during winter break, the Snohomish Library plans Winter Extravaganza, a six-day event over two weeks filled with activities and treats.
The event starts Dec. 19 with a workshop to build gingerbread houses.
The other dates are Dec. 20, 21, 27, 28 and 29. All activities will begin at 2 p.m.
The library is located at 311 Maple Ave.
