Erin Mitchell has rejoined the Lynnwood Convention Center staff as sales manager. She previously worked for the Lynnwood Convention Center as catering sales manager from November 2005 to January 2007.
Erica Heininger has joined the Lynnwood Convention Center staff as administrative/marketing assistant. She is a 2004 graduate of Washington State University.
Ted Schlatter has been promoted to partner at Whitfields Insurance. He will head up sales training for the commercial lines division of the company.
David Golner has joined specialty consulting firm Sparling as technology project manager. He has more than 25 years of experience providing technology design in health care, higher education, government and public safety.

Bob Pingle is the new chief operating office of Bellingham-based Horizon Bank, which has offices in Everett. He was formerly with Town Center Bank in Portland.
Katie Jones of Mukilteo, a consultant with party planner Scentsy Inc., recently received a company award for sales of $30,000 or more and a mentor award for sponsoring 20 or more active consultants during the past year.

MountainCrest Credit Union of Arlington has joined the CO-OP Financial Services Network, which offers members access to 28,000 ATMs surcharge-free. That means members will no longer be limited to MountainCrest ATMs.
Awards
Andrea Phillips of Snohomish recently received the annual Health Unit Coordinator Excellence Award at Evergreen Healthcare in Kirkland for her outstanding work in Evergreen Hospice. The Snohomish resident was honored for her cheerful, caring attitude. She reorganized work stations to make the center more efficient and comes in Sundays to make breakfast for staffers and families.
