Tyler Maxwell named Player of the Week

Everett left wing Tyler Maxwell was named the WHL Player of the Week for the opening weekend of the season. Maxwell had four goals and one assist over two games as the Tips opened the season with a pair of victories. I can’t say this with 100-percent certainty, but I think this is Maxwell’s first Player of the Week award.
