I-5 crash seriously hurts motorcyclist

SMOKEY POINT — A man was seriously hurt on Monday evening in a motorcycle accident on I-5.

The man lost control of his motorcycle on southbound I-5 near 172 Street NE about 5 p.m., Marysville Fire District Battalion Chief Scott Goodale said. Medics rushed him to an Everett hospital with serious injuries.

It was not immediately known what caused the crash.
