Where to see movies under the stars this summer

Communities all over the area are offering free outdoor movies, some old, some new, and most are family fare. Bring chairs and blankets and spread out on the grass. Here’s the lineup:

Arlington Outdoor Cinema
Pack up the family for two shows at dusk on Thursdays, at Terrace Park, 809 Fifth St. Bring blankets and chairs and enjoy free movies and popcorn. Call 360-403-3448 for more information.

July 29: “Back to the Future” (1985), rated PG.
Brier’s SeaScare movie
In conjunction with Brier’s annual SeaScare and Porchlight Parade on Aug. 11, they’re showing a free movie at 23631 Brier Road in the Brier Pizza and Pasta parking lot. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy cartoons until the movie begins at dusk, approximately 9:15 p.m. Call 360-387-4579 for the movie that will be shown.
Camano Island Outdoor Cinema
A lineup of classic or just campy old films is on the bill. The free films begin at dusk on Fridays through Sept. 24 at SE Camano Drive and Dallman Road. Bring blankets, chairs and picnic items, and dress for weather. Gates open at 7 p.m. The movie lineup is subject to change. Call 360-387-4579 or go to www.chumleigh.com for the movie titles.
Edmonds Outdoor Movie Nites
