Debby Ramundo has joined Sparling, a Seattle-based consultant, as a senior technology consultant. Ramundo, a registered nurse, has worked in health care for many years, most recently for Providence Hospital in Everett.
Chris Cichanski of Snohomish and Jake O’Banion of Monroe, both managers of Country Financial Agencies, recently received the company’s Diamond International Management Award. Recipients excel in leadership, recruitment and encouragement of employee professional growth.

David and Earl Ingebright have received the state’s Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year award for their family business in Arlington.
Snohomish County PUD General Manager Steve Klein has been appointed to a state energy advisory committee. The committee is charged with developing long-term strategies to maintain competitive energy prices, foster a clean energy economy and jobs, and meet obligations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

AAA Washington has honored six Snohomish County auto repair businesses with its Top Shop Award. The Boeing Co. and The Employees Community Fund of Boeing will be presented with the Volunteers of America’s 2010 Outstanding Community Service Award today to recognize the support of both organizations to the agency for the past 50 years. It will be presented by the Everett VOA during the organization’s national conference today in Seattle at the Sheraton Hotel.
Good deeds
Chermak Construction of Edmonds joined other members of the Master Builders Association of Snohomish and King Counties for its recent Rampathon to build ramps for people in need. The company volunteer 20 employees for this year’s project, a 30-foot ramp for a disabled homeowner in Everett.
