Forum on public records set for Wednesday

EVERETT — Get the scoop on Washington’s public records and open meetings laws in a forum from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Everett Station, 3201 Smith Ave*.

Bob Drewel, executive director of the Puget Sound Regional Council, will moderate the forum.

Panelists include former state representative Toby Nixon, president of the Washington Coalition for Open Government; State Auditor Brian Sonntag; lawyer Ramsey Ramerman; and Katie Blinn, Washington’s assistant director of elections.

The event is presented by the coalition and the city of Everett. It is sponsored by the city of Everett, The Herald and the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County.
