This week we’re revisiting a new condominium that was featured in November 2009. It’s a one-bedroom, 1.75-bath flat-style unit in the Hoyt Avenue Condominiums in downtown Everett.

The top three levels of the five-story complex include Baker floor plans with views toward the north, Olympic floor plans with views oriented toward the west, and Cascade floor plans with the view facing east. Prices start in the $379,000s and climb to the $700,000s for penthouse units.

The Baker model has 1,146 square feet of living space and includes secure underground parking, an 81 square-feet storage unit, and a rooftop common area with an almost 360-degree spanning Port Gardner Bay, the Olympic and Cascade mountains, Mount Baker and cityscapes. Each unit also contains an individual heat pump to provide air conditioning.

Both the secure underground parking garage and lobby access an elevator whisking owners to their respective floors and doorsteps. Hardwood-look flooring extends from the entry into the kitchen and dining room.

A full bathroom is positioned to the immediate left and has 18-inch travertine stone flooring, a single vanity topped with granite slab countertop and backsplash, and a shower/tub combination with ceramic tile deck and surround. A privacy door opens to the adjacent laundry room, which also has travertine flooring.

The center-island kitchen includes a short breakfast bar with drop-down lighting, and a formal dining area situated nearby.

Granite slab countertops and backsplashes highlight the kitchen, along with Shaker-style wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a pantry closet.

The living room includes Berber carpeting, a high coffered ceiling, and a sliding glass door revealing spectacular views and providing access to a balcony-style deck.

Completing the condominium is a bedroom suite with coffered nine-foot ceiling, Berber waffle-style carpeting, and a spacious sleeping area with a sitting area.

The suite is augmented by a walk-in wardrobe closet and a three-quarter bathroom. The closet has ventilated wire storage shelves, and the bathroom includes a single vanity topped with slab granite, 18-inch tile flooring and a walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling ceramic tile surround.
