Everett: Manager for conservation district

The Snohomish Conservation District recently named Monte Marti as its new district manager.

Marti comes to the district after more than 25 years as a manager with Verizon Northwest.

He has also served as a member on the district’s volunteer board of supervisors for the past 25 years and worked for the district briefly in the 1980s.

The district works with farmers and landowners on land-stewardship issues. It serves Camano Island and most of Snohomish County.

Bobbi Lindemulder has been the acting district manager.
