Player updates: Who’s in, who’s out?

OK, here’s Tuesday’s rundown:
– Captain Zack Dailey is doubtful for tomorrow’s game against Swift Current. He got his bell rung in that awful collision with referee Graham Skilliter on Saturday. Dailey didn’t participate in practice today, but he did skate afterwards and apparently he’s tested out fine throughout. He was described as day-to-day.
– New defenseman Curtis Kulchar has arrived and is practicing with the team. He is scheduled to make his Tips debut tomorrow.
– Defenseman Radko Gudas will play tommorow before jetting off to Calgary on Thursday to join the Czech Republic’s team for the World Junior Hockey Championships, so he’ll miss Everett’s final two games before the Christmas break.
– Defenseman Rasmus Rissanen will remain with the Tips through the weekend before heading out to Finland’s tryout camp for World Juniors. He’s one of eight defensemen competing for seven positions.
– Tips associate head coach Jay Varady departs for Grand Forks, N.D., before tomorrow’s game to join up with Team USA, so assistant coach Chris Hartsburg takes over defensive duties beginning tomorrow night.
