Clearly the players aren’t the only ones needing to shake off the offseason rust, as I nearly forgot that Monday is designated reader feedback day on the blog. But the light finally went on, and here’s the first poll of the season.
The Tips have shaved down to 32 players. That includes four 16-year-olds: forwards Josh Winquist and Mitchell Loose and defensemen Ryan Murray and Evan Morden. Everett has been all over the map over the years in terms of the number of 16-year-olds kept with the team to begin the season, ranging anywhere from one to seven. Last season the Tips started with three 16-year-olds, and league guidelines stipulate that 16-year-olds play a minimum of 40 games.
So this week’s question:
How many 16-year-olds will make Everett’s roster this season?(answers)
