Man found in water is identified

EDMONDS — Edmonds police have determined the identity of a man found floating facedown in the water near downtown Edmonds on Thursday night.
The man, whose name was not released, is 61 and from Everett, Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.
There were no immediate signs of trauma. The U.S. Coast Guard in Seattle searched the area and found no indication of an overturned boat in the water or on nearby beaches.
The man was in an intensive care unit at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds on Friday.
