If you can’t take Dad to a ball game for Father’s Day how about dinner and a show about baseball?
Basil and Chives, a new restaurant in Monroe, is serving Vietnamese cuisine along with “Rounding Third,” a show about two coaches, their sons and a Little League team.
Last Leaf Productions and the Snohomish Theatre Project are partnering with Basil and Chives to bring this contemporary comedy about the experienced coach who values winning at all costs and the new assistant coach who just wants the kids to have fun.
Asa Sholdez and Michael Hudson play the two coaches, with Eric Lewis directing.
“Rounding Third” is being presented with a buffet and dessert. Shows are 1 and 6 p.m. June 20 and 21 at Basil and Chives, 114 N. Lewis St., Monroe. Tickets are $30 per person for dinner and the show, and $10 for the performance only. Call 360-794-4000.
