Two injured in crash between car, motorcycle in Monroe

MONROE — Two people were hurt Tuesday night after a motorcycle crashed into a car backing out of a driveway.

Medics rushed to the intersection of N. Kelsey and W. Columbia streets around 8:50 p.m., Monroe Fire District 3 Battalion Chief Eric Liddiatt said.

Medics drove the male driver of the motorcycle to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His female passenger was taken to an area hospital, Liddiatt said. Their condition was not immediately known.

The driver of the car was not hurt.
