State Avenue in Marysville closed after accident sends boy to hospital

MARYSVILLE — A 12-year-old boy was being taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after a serious traffic accident on State Avenue in Marysville.

Witnesses at City Hall reported seeing a boy on a skateboard being treated for injuries around 4 p.m.

Paramedics called for a helicopter to rush the boy to the region’s trauma center.

State Avenue was blocked as Marysville police investigated the collision.
