Camper catches fire, threatens home

LYNNWOOD — Fire investigators Tuesday night didn’t know what caused a family’s trailer to catch fire.

Crews were called to a home in the 17200 block of 57th Place W. about 9:40 p.m., Lynnwood Fire Department firefighter Scott Williams said. They found a camper parked near a family’s house engulfed in flames.

The flames spread to the house, causing minor damage.

All family members got out safely, and nobody was hurt in the fire.

A dozen firefighters extinguished the fire in about 20 minutes, Williams said.
