City oversees park restrooms

Regarding the letter, “Which agency oversees urinals?”: The city of Edmonds is responsible for maintaining the restrooms in the Richard Anway Park, which is the small park adjacent to the ferry holding lanes in Edmonds. Presently, parks staff service these restrooms twice a day in the winter months, and three to four times per day in the peak summer season. This is the first we have heard about the overflow issue and are currently evaluating the problem. If there are issues in the future, people can call the city and they can locate the correct personnel to resolve the problem. The ferry workers also have our information to call us when there is an issue.
