New psychiatric care unit opens at EvergreenHealth Monroe
On Dec. 15, Fairfax Behavioral Health and EvergreenHealth Monroe hosted an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new 34-bed psychiatric care unit for older adults on the EvergreenHealth Monroe hospital campus. The psychiatric unit will treat adults 55 and older experiencing acute psychological or emotional behavioral health challenges on both a voluntary and involuntary basis.
