Gold Bar man killed in car crash in Monroe

MONROE — A Gold Bar man was killed Thursday night in a crash along Chain Lake Road in Monroe.
The man’s name was not released Friday pending notification of his family. He was described as being in his 60s.
The crash happened at 6:42 p.m.
The Gold Bar man was believed to be northbound in a truck when he crossed the center line and struck another vehicle. The other driver suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Monroe police. A cause has not been determined.
