MISSIONARY REPORT
Marysville Free Methodist Church will host a missionary report and discussion on human trafficking.
Kevin Austin, whose mission brought him to Thailand, will speak on “A Christian’s Response To Modern Human Slavery.”
Because of some of the information and subject matter included, the presentation is considered appropriate for children 13 and older.
The presentation will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Marysville Free Methodist Church, 6715 Grove St., Marysville.

CAR SHOW
Lakeside Community Fellowship will host a classic car show from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
The event will feature a special guest speaker, Jeff Knight from The Rock Church, who also happens to be a stock car driver. There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers from noon to 1 p.m., door prizes and special musical guest Timothy James Meaney.

MINISTRY FAIR
Trinity Lutheran Church will kick off the fall season at 9:45 a.m. today, with a ministry fair.
The fair will feature more than 20 areas of ministry within the church and community. The purpose of the fair is fellowship and showcasing the ways in which friends and church family of all ages can participate in the new year.

CONCERTS
Ebenezer Lutheran Church is proud to present dramatic mezzo-soprano Shannon Magee at 2 p.m. Sept. 30.
She will sing the music of Verdi, Puccini, Saint-Saens, Wagner, Mendelssohn, Bach, Handel and Rogers and Hammerstein.
Magee has received rave reviews for operatic performances and concert appearances. She has performed many opera roles and been a featured soloist. For the recital on Sept. 30, Magee’s accompanist will be Iris Ingram of Lake Stevens.
There is no admission charge for this recital, however donations are appreciated.

Hillcrest Baptist Church will host a free bluegrass concert and ice cream social for the public at 7 p.m. Sept. 23, featuring the Mission Mountain Trio. It’s a fun event for friends and family.

New Life Prison Ministry will host The Mosaic Choir, including musicians and singers from more than 25 local churches, at 7 p.m. Sept. 22. In addition to the choir, a silent auction and dessert fellowship will follow to raise funds for New Life Prison Ministry.
The performance and auction will take place at New Life Foursquare Church, 6830 Highland Drive, Everett.

WOMEN’S EVENTS
The MOMS Club of Snohomish has a monthly meeting open to all mothers looking for fun and support. The MOMS Club is an international, nonprofit support group for mothers who stay at home with their children, including those who have home-based businesses or who work part-time but are home with their children during the day. The club offers a range of activities including play groups, books clubs and special daytime events geared toward children.

GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people grieving the death of someone close.

A 13-week support group for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one will meet from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 2 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 9613 20th St. SE, Everett. The group, called GriefShare, requests that participants register in advance.
