TEDx: TEDxSnoIsleLibraries will be held 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts (410 Fourth Ave. N). There is a wait list for seats in Edmonds. Everett: The Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett invites veterans older than 50 from all wars to its 10th annual USO dance, 1-5 p.m. Nov. 11. Ways to help

Food drive: The Marysville All-City Food Drive runs 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 7 to benefit the Marysville Community Food Bank. Donate money, food and unused toys at collection points at local stores, look for red barrels throughout the season, or drop off at the food bank at 4150 88th St. NE (mailing address P.O. Teen service hours: Middle school students (grades 6-8) can earn community service credit by helping out at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. Volunteers will prepare crafts for library programs, pick up and clean up, sort books, and more. No need to sign up. Meet 10:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 7 (first Saturday, September to May) in the teen area.
