Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council and school board actions.

Edmonds: $83,765 to Cosmopolitan Engineering Group of Tacoma to repair a sewage outfall pipeline.

Everett: $5,400 to the U.S. Postal Service for mailing an information card to residents about not letting grease and hair clog up the city’s sewer system.

$324 to the state Department of Licensing in Olympia for a concealed weapons permit fee for the police department.

$592 to Botesch, Nash and Hall, an Everett architectural firm, for design work on the EverPark garage and walkway.

$758 to Sound Tractor Co. of Everett for a tractor bucket for the water pollution control facility.

Lake Stevens: $28,293 to the city of Marysville for inmate housing and medical costs from June through December.

$7,791 to CHS Engineers LLC of Bellevue for ongoing engineering services.

$6,781 to Keithly, Weed, Graafstra and Benson of Snohomish for legal services.

$2,583 to Drainage Improvement District No. 8 for quarterly maintenance and operation of the lake aerator.

$9,988 to the city of Snohomish for technology services for the fourth quarter of 2004.

Lynnwood: $8,000 to Lamb Hanson Lamb Appraisal Associates of Seattle to appraise property the city is studying as a possible location for a community center.

$1,200 for city finance director Mike Bailey to attend the City and County Innovations Summit March 21-22 in Phoenix.

Marysville: $2,909 to the state Department of Corrections for inmate and prisoner food.

$99,121 to the city of Everett for water filtration services.

$18,275 to the Association of Washington Cities for the 2005 annual service fee and fee schedule.

$1,379 to Puget Sound Energy for damage to a gas facility on 26th Drive.

$17,097 to the Snohomish County PUD for electrical service.

Monroe: $320 to AmTest Inc. of Redmond for metal testing for the wastewater treatment plant.$1,170 to Dell Marketing of Palatine, Ill., for a laptop computer for a patrol vehicle.

$2,360 to H.B. Jaeger Co. of Snohomish for waterline repair.

$11,293 to Snohomish County Corrections for jail billing in November.

Snohomish: $1,860 to the Snohomish County Sheriff Office for drug task force assessment.

$31 to Verizon Wireless of Inglewood, Calif., for the police chief’s cell phone.

$25 to the Washington Animal Control Association of Vancouver for 2005 membership dues.
