EVERETT – A man who allegedly robbed a teenager at knifepoint for a 35-cent bus pass was ordered held on $10,000 bail Thursday.

Jeffrey C. Lamar appeared in Everett District Court on Thursday afternoon. Police suspect he threatened a teenager with a knife in the 1000 block of Broadway about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday and took the boy’s bus pass, Everett Police Sgt. Boyd Bryant said.

The teen wasn’t hurt. Lamar got on a bus, Bryant said. Officers arrested him when he got off.

Lamar was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
