Easy for Herald board members to say OK

Regarding the recent editorial about NASCAR and the “fear of the unknown”:

Where do editorial board members live? I’ll bet they don’t live in the very neighborhood where it is proposed to be built. Don’t whitewash the issue of the communities’ fears. Our elected officials do not live in this neighborhood and will profit from this venture, hence, they don’t see the noise and traffic being a problem. I guarantee it will be a problem for those of us who live nearby.
