A retirement party is planned for outgoing Snohomish County Assessor Gail Rauch from 2 – 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Everett Station Weyerhaeuser Room at 3201 Smith Ave. in Everett. No RSVPs are needed.

The parents of Cascade High School athletes are forming a new Bruin Booster Club, an adult organization intent on rekindling school pride by promoting spirit and community support for all Bruin athletic programs.

The first meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday in the west end of the Administration Building at Cascade High School, 801 E. Casino Road in Everett.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks.

Zonta Club of Everett Foundation raised more than $45,000 at its recent annual auction.

The money will go to Catholic Community Services of Snohomish County, Deaconess Children’s Services, the Snohomish County Center for Battered Women and several other service agencies.

Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of business executives dedicated to improving the status of women.

Church of God of Prophecy at 3004 23rd St. in Everett is offering a once-a-week food bank. If you are in need, visit the church from 11:30 a.m.-noon on Sundays.
