More night work on U.S. 2 in Snohomish area

More nighttime paving and crack-sealing work is scheduled for U.S. 2 between the Pilchuck River Bridge and Roosevelt Road in the Snohomish area.
One lane will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Sunday through Tuesday. Drivers are being told to prepare for lengthy delays. Flaggers and a pilot vehicle will direct traffic through the open lane.
In addition, the right lane of eastbound U.S. 2 at 87th Avenue SE will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for bridge inspection.
