Edmonds police investigating Saturday shooting; no one hurt

EDMONDS — Police are investigating after shots were fired in Edmonds early Saturday morning.

“We have a lot of questions still unanswered,” Sgt. Shane Hawley said.

The incident was reported just before 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the 24000 block of Edmonds Way. Police found multiple shell casings, Hawley said.

Early information indicates the gunfire may have come from a theft suspect who was being pursued by the victim. No injuries were reported, Hawley said Monday.
