Snohomish Conservation District was recently awarded the state Auditor’s Stewardship Award for “outstanding accomplishment in the stewardship of public resources.”

Snohomish Conservation District has provided technical assistance, cost-share, and community engagement to the landowners of Snohomish County and Camano Island for 75 years. Its funding is comprised of a conservation tax assessment in most parts of the district, which helps to leverage state, federal and donor funding.
