Sacred Path Day Spa has opened in Smokey Point. The brand new business, located at 3210 Smokey Point Drive, Suite 103, offers massage therapy, facials, waxing, body treatments, foot detox, and life coaching. Snohomish County hotels rank third in state for occupancy

Snohomish County hotels saw a slight decline over 2015 percentages in two of the three measurements, according to the Smith Travel Research Report for the month of November 2016, Snohomish County’s positioning year-to-date, compared to other counties, places it at third in occupancy, sixth in average daily rate, and fifth in revenue per available room.

EdCC, Japanese hospitality college celebrate 30-year partnership

Edmonds Community College and the Trajal Hospitality College of Japan celebrated its 30-year partnership in 2016. Trajal provides two-year programs to train students for careers in hospitality and tourism. Employment Security Department launches new online services

On Jan. 3, the Employment Security Department launched new online services for unemployment claimants and employers. The new e-services website is part of an upgrade to the agency’s unemployment benefits computer system. It provides additional security and new self-service options for claimants and employers.
