LAKE STEVENS — Three dogs were rescued from a house fire on Tuesday night in Lake Stevens.

No one was hurt, Assistant Fire Marshal David Petersen said.

The fire broke out just before 6:30 p.m. along 120th Avenue NE, just north of the lake. The damage to the two-story house and contents was estimated Wednesday at $105,000.

The firefighting efforts kept the flames from spreading to the neighboring houses, Petersen said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Crews also responded from Marysville, Snohomish and Getchell.
