Detectives investigating reported gunfire south of Everett

EVERETT — Detectives are investigating gunfire reported Friday night south of Everett.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. along Alexander Road, near Center Road.

A witness said the shots came from someone in a white car, said Shari Ireton with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Five shell casings from a handgun were found, and a black Infinity appeared to have been struck more than once.

No suspect information was available Monday.
