Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash near Lake Serene

EDMONDS — A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening head injuries after a crash Friday near the Lake Serene area of unincorporated Edmonds.

The man, whose age was not disclosed, was not wearing a helmet, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. He apparently lost control and tipped over at a low speed just before 2 p.m. The location was the 5300 block of 145th Street SW.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The investigation was ongoing.
