EVERETT — A 40-year-old man from Everett was arrested Wednesday evening on suspicion of stabbing another man in the forearm.
Police were called to the 2300 block of Broadway shortly before 8 p.m. The victim told an officer someone had stabbed him and took off east on 24th Street, according to a probable cause affidavit.
A tourniquet was needed to stop the bleeding.
The victim knew the suspect by his street nickname.
The officer knew the name. He had talked with the man more than five times in as many months, according to the affidavit.
Police went to the suspect’s house along Walnut Street. The suspect reportedly was wearing the same clothes the victim had described.
