Father, son hospitalized after stabbing fight in Marysville

MARYSVILLE — A father and son were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a fight that led to a stabbing.

Police were called to the 7200 block of 35th Place NE in Marysville. Initial reports indicated a man was bleeding from the chest, said Assistant Police Chief Jeff Goldman.

Detectives believe the pair were fighting when the father was stabbed in the shoulder, Goldman said.

The teen suffered injuries to his arm and face. They were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

Detectives are investigating.
